"As the music plays"

From her lyre's precisely caressed strings wafts the unseen,
Yet to the ear, it's as sweet as the butterfly's recoiled treasure
of crystal wild flower nectar,
And for the spirit, the message of love is snugly bond.

This is a dimensional painting done on hard board. Many of the elements, such as the dress and butterflies, were fashioned out of joint compound then painted. Not wanting the frame to distract from the rugged free form of the painting; I wrapped a simple undulating wire around the board and joined at the corner in an abstract treble clef.

Dimensions are 24"x12"
